Mid-Strength March: Stay For Another Moment

Drinking and socialising can often blur into burnout. A lot of nights end up becoming one big haze. After one too many drinks, inhibitions disappear and so do parts of the evening.

And yet, there’s something undeniably beautiful about going for a round of drinks with your friends.

For me, nothing quite beats a group of friends laughing around a pub table. The ripped-open crisp packets mimicking a sharing mezze platter (even though they’re actually salt and vinegar Scampi Fries). The dim, slightly flickering lights. That familiar pub-carpet scent lingering in the air. It’s warm. It’s comforting. British pub culture is such an integral part of our society.

But drinking goes beyond pubs. It brings people together at weddings, birthday parties, Sunday roasts and long dinners. There’s pairing, appreciation, craft. It’s not always about getting drunk. Often, it’s about connection.

And to be clear: I’m not advocating abstinence. I enjoy a rich glass of Malbec with dinner just as much as a tequila shot on a Saturday night. But sometimes I want a fresh, crisp pint mid-week without suffering the consequences the next morning. Especially working full-time; as much as I’d like to power through every social plan, it’s just not sustainable.

That’s where mid-strength beer comes in.

Low enough that your body can stay more hydrated. High enough that you still get the buzz. It’s the sweet spot.

Introducing Mid-Strength March

Throughout March, we’re shining a light on what we do every day with a month-long campaign we’re calling Mid-Strength March.

Mid-Strength March celebrates moderation as a way to stay present for life’s moments. Through food, fitness, family and fun, we’re highlighting how mid-strength beer fits into the rhythms of life, enabling people to form deeper connections and actually remember the moments that matter.

As culture shifts away from excess and towards balance, we’re championing a new era of mindful socialising. One that proves you don’t have to opt out to feel included.

Mid-Strength March is about flavour, balance and human connection. It’s about choosing to #StayForAnotherMoment.

How Mid-Strength Fits Into Real Life

We’re not saying stop drinking. And we’re not saying exclusively drink mid-strength.

But it can be an integral piece of the puzzle, something that slots into your life seamlessly.

There are moments when you want to enjoy a drink but can’t afford to be too tipsy. An early morning meeting. A mid-week dinner. Fitness goals you’re working towards. Watching your calorie or sugar intake. Wanting the ritual without the regret.

In those instances, mid-strength is the perfect in-between.

And it’s important to say: it’s not the same as 0%. You’re still drinking alcohol and you still get the sociable buzz. That’s the key difference, and it’s something often missed in the no-and-low conversation.

Mid-strength is the go-between. The middle ground. The balance.

What’s Happening This March

Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting events and activations across food, fun, family and fitness, showing how mid-strength beer can sit naturally alongside all parts of life.

And very excitingly, we’re kicking things off with a literal march through Central London, complete with a live marching band, dancers and placards.

Join in the fun, grab a placard and dance like nobody's watching! Follow along as we document the rest of the campaign and #StayForAnotherMoment
