The very best of the outstanding Small Beers. Tropical fruit, hazy, not too bitter - absolutely delicious and eminently quaffable. The flavour and mouthfeel are punching way above the abv - goes toe-to-toe with 4% craft beers. Please never stop brewing this one…

Tasty

"Very nice. Fruity and tastes even better on 3rd & 4th sip. After drinking 14 cans last week I am still below the weekly unit recommendation. I played sports today and felt the best in ages and my hedd is bright and clear. I can enjoy my beer without any drawbacks. So impressed! Calculating my monthly order now = 60 cans a nonth."

Taster pack

"Trying to find that one low alcohol beer that is still full bodied as well as tasting good, the hazy was pleasant enough but felt "thin" to the palette, will prob try again, a good effort tho."

"Love the taste for a low alcohol beer!"

Christine T. (5/5)

I can't wait!

"I am really looking forward to drinking some Hazy on Easter Sunday after my Lent time no alcohol pledge. I know it will be well worth the wait."

Paul (5/5)

Refreshing and deliciously flavoured beer with no hangover!

"Having discovered Small Beer, we don’t want to drink anything else now (it’s not like any low alcohol beer I’ve tasted before)."

Nicky C. (5/5)

Tasty, gives a nice relaxed feeling

"Does what it says on the tin. It’s a lovely Hazy, zesty tropical beer that doesn’t leave you feeling sore headed. I have 5 on evening and felt fine, so a huge plus."

Benjamin B. (5/5)

Hazy. But I'm not

"Lovely light beer. What more do I need to say"

Stuart m. (5/5)

Small but perfectly formed

"I like a hazy pale and this absolutely fits the bill. And, what's more, I can enjoy a drink with friends after work or with family at the weekends and not worry too much about driving home."

Kevan M. (5/5)

Possibly the perfect Low ABV beer

"I’ve enjoyed most of the Small Beer range and tried their Hazy beer after seeing it on Sunday Brunch. I must say I think it’s their best yet. Great depth of taste for a Low ABV beer, lovely citrus flavour with a nice finish. Doesn’t have the metallic after tasty some low alcohol beers have. Will definitely be ordering more."

David C. (5/5)

Perfect for summer

"Love the taste, perfect for a summer lunch or evening BBQ. Delicious drink plus a clear head. Brilliant"

FAQs

SMALL BEER is brewed entirely in our brewery in South Bermondsey, which helps to reduce our carbon footprint and boost our sustainability credentials. The recipes were developed by our co-founder Felix and our beers are now primarily brewed by our head brewer Ben.

Our bespoke brewing kit allows us to brew our beer to strength, which means that we don't do anything to remove or lower the alcohol content that occurs during fermentation. Unlike other breweries, we don’t dilute or dealcoholise our beers, simply because we never compromise on flavour. Pure brewing, no funny business!

Yes, all of our beers are 100% vegan. We don't use lactose, finings or any other ingredients that are derived from animal-based sources in our beers. We only use natural ingredients and traditional brewing methodologies.

Our brewery in South Bermondsey is home to a bespoke brewing kit, which was built exclusively to produce beer up to, but not above 2.8% ABV. We only use natural brewing ingredients in our beers including malted barley, hops yeast and water. Depending on the beer style you may also find that we use the best of home-grown oats, rye and wheat.

Without giving too many secrets away, our beers are conditioned - or 'lagered' for a minimum of six weeks - which is when they develop their undeniably clean yet pronounced flavour profiles. If you are interested in learning more about our brewing process, you can book yourself onto a brewery tour in Bermondsey.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we were so immensely proud to be London's first and only brewery to gain B Corp certification. All the electricity in our brewery comes from the wind, sun and sea. We have also saved over 10 million litres to date due to our innovative dry floor policy. You can read more about what makes our brewing process so eco friendly on our dedicated sustainability page.

Our cans of Small Beer IPA are gluten free, as the beer contains less than 20 ppm (parts per million) gluten. Although other beers in our range do also contain less than 20 ppm we do not test their gluten levels with the same frequency so we cannot provide any guarantee. We therefore do not classify these other beer styles as gluten free and do not recommend them for coeliacs.

If you are looking to reduce gluten, our SMALL BEER LAGER contains less than 100 ppm gluten, which means it can be categorised as a low gluten beer. To understand more about whether this may be suitable for you, we recommend reading our article on the amount of gluten in beer.
