Logistics & Ops Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Logistics & Ops Coordinator, the role will be both supplier and customer facing, so the candidate will be outgoing with a genuine can-do attitude, work well within our tight-knit team and calm under pressure. Someone who is superbly organised, with strong communication skills, an analytical mind and veritable plate-spinning brilliance. We’re a fast-paced business with ambitious plans. 

Key responsibilities include 

Logistics

  • Processing UK and international orders, maintaining customer records and relations 
  • Fulfilling Export requirements, including transport, logistics and required documentation 
  • Ensure on-time delivery of shipments in line with customer service requirements 
  • Maintaining stock records, reconciling and reporting stockholding and value 
  • Managing 3PL Warehousing, freight & couriers 
  • Managing the cost of current logistics suppliers in line with operational margin 
  • Creating weekly reports for the Growth Team 
  • Picking, packing and palletising orders and samples for dispatch from the brewery 
  • Improving and developing procedures in line with growth 

Customer Service

  • Prioritise and process customer orders 
  • Primary point of contact for all customer service issues, B2B and B2C 
  • Address customer issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner 
  • Monitoring customer service provisions between delivery partners 
  • Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of import and export customs procedures
  • Excellent IT and numeracy skills, in depth knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Positive, flexible and creative
  • Calm under pressure, with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Passion for driving excellent standards and service

The role is full time Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm and reports to the Head of Operations.
