Reinvigorating the lost tradition of small beer, we are pioneering a new process, combining our expertise with past practices and modern know-how to rethink the brewing cycle, whilst grounding each step within the craftsmanship of old.
We source only the best possible ingredients: partnering with a malt producer whose floor malting techniques haven’t changed since 1855 and who hand select the breweries they supply, we use only the best quality malt; we combine traditional and new world hop varieties chosen for their flavour; and let’s not forget the yeast.

We don’t often say ‘no’ at the Small Beer Brew Co. However this is where we draw the line:
- No vacuum distilling,
- No reverse osmosis,
- No filtration,
- No processing,
- No pasteurising,
- No sterile filtering,
- No added stabilisers,
- No arrested fermentation,
- No clarifiers
- No isinglass,
Just the finest ingredients and natural carbonation.
